I am new to this sublimation world, I have just purchased a Epson R1400 printer, now looking for a cis setup for sublimation can anyone point me in the right direction? I dont want to have to spend a fortune as I am not too sure about doing this but the wife wants a go to see how it she get on LOL!

from what I have seen I will need to get a profile for the printer is this correct.

Hope someone can help to a total novice.

Thanks

Hi there and welcome to the forum! You'll find a list of suppliers in our general section that will be able to sort you the cis, this isn't a cheap investment though.

The sublimation ink systems for the 1400 come with 6x 100ml of ink already primed in a CIS (called EasyFlow systems). Profile are available by download with this system and have to be used in photoshop or coreldraw. We, as other suppliers, generally have these in stock.

you may not need a profile, have a test print and see how you go

although Paul here does the profiles very cheaply :)

welcome aboard as well btw and have fun
