can any1 help me i have got my printer working after playing around for a couple of days but when i print the picture the pictures seam slightly faided & dull so when i print them onto the mug i have the same problem before i print i put the printer onto best picture option but still same problem i have tryed googling and going onto you tube with no sucess so any help would be great also before i print it comes up with this message (some postscript specific print settings (interpolation,calibration, encodinding) will be ignored since you are printing to a non-postscript printer) does this make sense to anyone and can any1 help me with this any help would be ace.
i am using a epson s22 printer

This could be a day of "S22 problems" :)

The issue is probably caused by a lack of ICC profile. Did your supplier provide you with this?

when you 1st print the image it does look dull on the paper
for test purposes only print very small images that way you can re-use the same mug over and over to save on wastage

Paul will hopefully be along soon to advice on profiles etc he's the man for this :)

thanks for your response but sorry martin but i dont know what icc profile is im editing pictures on photoshop and using that to print i got the printer from argos and got the normal install disk plus basic photo printing program but i only use photoshop

There's your answer then - you need a profile to use the sublimation ink.

Paul (one of the mods) is the one to speak to for a profile
and he will explain how to install it etc as well
it's not free but the service is brill and will sort you out no problems

Unless this slipped past Sawgrass's eagle eyes then this may be genuine inks - have you asked the seller for an ICC profile? Does the ink have a brand name?
