Hi guys, I am trying out Martin's Iphone covers but ended up in a mess. Paper sticks to aluminium inserts and image blurred up a bit. Do the aluminium inserts from Martins have a protective film. I am using 190 for 60secs

Please help!!!

Yes they have a ultra thin protective film. I found this out to my own cost the first few times. Because it's so thin you cant actually tell there is a film. Its not until you remove the first one that you can tell the difference.

How do I remove this film? As I can't seem to get hold of it. Thanks

The first load we printed, my wife hadn't read the instructions and printed with the film still on. Came home from work to find her trying to clean the stuck on paper off them in the kitchen sink. I think laughed a bit and peeled the films off. Thankfully the print/ink had sublimated through the film and onto the aluminium, so looked fine once peeled.

I know its difficult to do at first, but I persevered - first time around after realising there was a film was to use a weeding tool to tear a small hole in the film, but after that its just a case of peeling away with your fingers.

With the BMS ones you have to sort of make a slight hole with your fingernail at the top, which will allow you to peel the rest of the film off.

I prefer the ones with the blue film though, as it is thicker, and easier to get hold of!

BMS ones have a clear film. Others have blue or coloured films.
