Re: Polymer Keyrings & Jigsaws
Anyone know if UK suppliers are selling polymer keyrings/jigsaws yet?

Re: Polymer Keyrings & Jigsaws
Lol, thought I was asking for trouble there! Just thought these two products in particular looked very interesting. Decent quality. Still not printed my polymer coaster sample yet though
Re: Polymer Keyrings & Jigsaws
I gave up on the ploymer mugs after just trying 2 of the 6 I bought. The transfer paper came off when taking them out of the press & left a shadow each time. The heat proof tape just didn't seem to stick well under heat to the mug.

Re: Polymer Keyrings & Jigsaws
That's a shame. I've not looked at the mugs yet, prefer smaller size (10oz) but had intended to look at them. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem.
Re: Polymer Keyrings & Jigsaws
I did mention it at the time but, the supplier wasn't that interested in answering what I had said on the post. I might have another try with the remaing 4 but the puck does make a good pen & pencil holder.

Usually two days before Christmas, and then the line is discontinued because "no one was interested".Ian M;37300 wrote:Don't be silly Justin this is the UK where we get everything after everyone else.
I like the idea of the polymer jigsaw. Although, to be honest, I would like the idea of any jigsaw that has more than just a half-dozen pieces. I mean, jigsaws having only 150 pieces or less? Where's the challenge?

I would love some jigsaws where all the pieces are different from each other.JSR;37350 wrote:Although, to be honest, I would like the idea of any jigsaw that has more than just a half-dozen pieces. I mean, jigsaws having only 150 pieces or less? Where's the challenge?
Re: Polymer Keyrings & Jigsaws
The polymer mugs work fine for us (both from BMS and Novachrome) - we get through tons of them without a problem. The Novachrome ones are not as good quality and tend to warp a little if you're not careful, but the ones from BMS are fantastic. We have been hunting high and low for the polymer jigsaw puzzles too as these would go down a storm in our shop
TIP: We use clear heat proof tape though, not the green stuff

Yes the green tape can leave a little residue even on normal mugs, I switched to Coralgraph tape a long while back and find it far better.
