Bleaching
Re: Bleaching
Perusing an American cutter forum I came across a member who used a positive stencil applied to a t shirt and then just sprayed a 50/50 bleach and water combination, had a few goes myself, just wondered if anybody else had ?

Re: Bleaching
Surley adding bleach to a garment will eventually fray and hole?
I remember seeing hairdresses with bleach on their pinnies as a kid that turned to holes over the months ....................... how did you get on Paul?

Re: Bleaching
we had a charity we screened a load of t's for, they "tie dyed" them with bleach for a different look, providing the bleach was not on too long, it seemed ok, but they have not lasted, and yep holes have appeared and the material kind of rots

first one i did ... sorry for quality of photo done on a phone, found it best to use a garden spray type gun and leave on for at most ten minutes then straight into sa;ted water tp reverse the effect of the bleach/water mixture

Re: Bleaching
that looks quite cool - not what I was expecting to see at all (was thinking more tie dye I guess) What do you make your templates from?
Re: Bleaching
Just plain sign vinyl, better to spend a bit of time applying it to tshirt ... Maybe use a roller , couple of quick sprays, leave it at most ten minutes, straight into cold water with a couple of tablespoons of salt in and let it dry naturally before washing
