Has anyone tried the puff flex from MDP?

I tried some last year (only got a metre of 1 colour to try) but it peeled off after the first wash.

Now, the thing is that I also had a few other problems with vinyl at that time and it turned out the garment was at fault and the vinyl was ok on other items - but I had no more puff flex to try after that so didn't bother.

It does look great stuff and is available in a few colours - has anyone used it and have feedback please?

Particularly interested in the wash tests.

Many thanks

I got some samples from a trade vinyl company = graphtex i think - I pressed them onto the inside of some of my workwear, and they have had many wash cycles and seem good s0 far, but I suspect that after many washes, and with fine detail it will not last as well as good regular flex vinyl.

No, I don't think I even washed the item. It was printed on a slightly coarse cotton material on the edge of a cotton hand towel, which may have effected the result. I decided to abandon the idea, so didn't try to find out how to get the right result.

I have used the 3D effect from Grafytip, the effect created varies quite substantially with just a few seconds difference in pressing times. After several wash tests we felt confident to go with it However we produced about 200 for a launch show last July and one was reurned by a young man several months later . ( Unfortunately you could see that it had been ironed which our label says "do not iron") Which we re[laced.

We are now several months on and that is the only problem we've had.

Thanks for this - I think I may need to give this another test :-)

Hi Alja,
Do you know who the origional manufacturer of the Grafytip puff is? A clue will be in how many colours are available. Ive got a job to do and need to buy some and it would be good to know which puff works ok. As I live in Germany I need to track down a supplier over here.
