Post by cardman »

hi all
i have the xpress (metal unit) heater and just wondering if i have my setting correct as i have temp set at 200 and timer at 5 minutes
but to me i can sort of see a burn image on the actual image i was puttin on the cup and some of the paper is sort of burnt to a crisp

all i want to know is this correct - the hotter the better ???

one last thing

with my xpres came a white stone sort of thing and i leave it in and put the cup on top of it

what is this and do i actually need it in ???
hi m8 the paper is

Signal - Transfer paper - sublimation printing 120 gram
(hard to tell which side is whiter :))

The expres machine does not have any numbers on it so checked ebay and this is the one :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XPRES-MAGI...item3cc0048e4f

the printer is epson s22 and comes with some chipped cartridges in it which i fill with sublimation ink using syringe
(not best way i know - but what came with system)
Also the software that is set up is adobe elements 10 and have a color management profile
I prefer Photoshop but dont know how to transfer the managent file or whatever u call it
