Sublimation problem with Trupix paper

Hi to all,

I have a Brother printer with a sublimation ink, i have printed some picture on trupix paper but the problem that nothing after the transfert?
My question is : can i use any sublimation ink with trupix paper?

yes. you can but are you sure you use sublimation ink?
trupix paper is actual one of the best transfer paper for sublimation.

As just pm'd - you are using 100% cotton t-shirts so this is the problem. Sublimation ink only bonds to polyester so you have to buy special sublimation t-shirts. 100% cotton t-shirts are not suitable for sublimation printing.

I automatically thought it was the ink. I would think you would still get full transfer to cotton just it would wash out with no poly conyent. I'm sure we've done a print on cotton as a trial....... hmmm.

Some ink would gas off, but it would be very pale as well.
