Hello folks.
New member, have just started in last 2 weeks to dye-sub print my own mugs. STEEP STEEP learning curve. But fun.
I'm coming into this as a way of getting my own photographs out into the market in anyway possible.
Based in Ireland, Co Kildare. Joining the DSF, even though it's free to read without joining, I'm open to all advice, and hopefully, be able to help share out with the little knowledge I have so far.
Best regards to all, and Merry Christmas.
James

Hi James - welcome from Galway. What print set up are you using? I've managed a few decent mugs and a lot of mistakes

Hi Sarah, Merry Christmas,
Have seen a post or two from yourself, and yes, noticed the Galway base from your initial hello post !.
Thanks for the welcome from all who've said hello.
Mistakes - Oh where to start. In fairness, a lot of my own have been in the learning zone. What time/temp/cutting the paper stuff.
Printing the mugs - I think I've been quite lucky.
My setup is laptop, P-shop lightroom for photo editing, P-shop elelments for print managing, Ricoh printing and a mug press from China. (More on that in a later thread - I'm in discussion at moment about something there.)
Mugs/paper/Dye from source in Dublin.
So all in all - compact kit, but wish I had a small office/shed to leave setup permanently.
I was looking at your album - 6 images, fine work If I say, hope buisness is good ??
How about your own setup ? Buisness or hobby ? My own is hobby, pushing images into buisness. But Not full time pressing.
