Wanted couple of pieces of Ali
Re: Wanted couple of pieces of Ali
I've probably got brushed silver I can cut and corner for you. You need to use a slightly lower temperature when printing than what you do with the white. You can have it in 2 pieces which makes it safer for posting and easier to get consistant pressure when printing.
Re: Wanted couple of pieces of Ali
Sorry, misread the bit where you said you can do it in 2 stages which made me think you could have had the 450mm length in 2. My cutter only fits the 300mm width in so can't get the 450. I was thinking 2 x 225mm x 90mm to make up 1 length. I could do 450mm by 300mm as that's the standard width but guess that's to wide for what you need.

Hi Steve, unfortunately I don't have any ali that size, but can help with the clear laminate if you need some, just let me know, it's gloss cast laminate so it's pretty good stuff

Did we discuss this a while ago? I forgot about it. I can cut to the size required but the grained silver is 0.5mm and 0.75mm. thick However 2 pieces could be bonded together with full self adhesive tape then joined together after printing to make them thicker.I could supply you with the 2 plates, the bottom plate with the adhesive applied. So if you were to bond say 2 of the 0.75mm together you'd have 1.5mm thickness.

well thanks to Jimbo for supplying me with the pieces of Ali that i needed
I spent today printing it (it took 2 pieces to get it spot on)
and then the rest of the day fitting the thing lol
it's not simple trust me as i re-done the vinyl on the rest of it also at the same time.
anyways here's the finished product picture is rubbish tho sorry
and ignore the bottom 2nd in from the left dial as it's not the right one as i'm waiting for a new sender for the proper dial
just like to say huge thanks to Jimbo ,
