Given that there seems to be no other supported A4 printer at the moment, I imagine it would be quite popular.:biggrin::biggrin:

Does the works printer have sublimation ink in it and are you using sublimation mugs and paper.

If you are using all of above it should never stick to the mug!

I have bought some paper from Coralgraph to see if it's the paper.

The temp is at 360fh at 180 seconds as this is the instructions with the mug press. :(

Hi

As Paul suggests the problem is most likely to be the coating on the mug. If they are not properly cured when coated in the factory papers will stick to the surface. Particularly when using a heatpress rather than a convection oven. Once the paper is peeled away are you getting an imprint?

Sometimes, saving a couple of quid on a box of mugs or a pack of paper costs you more in the long run.

That seller says that the mugs are "double coated" - not sure what that means. Most people have better success with mugs that have dishwasher-safe coating. The most popular type is RN-coated mugs (many suppliers sell these). Nearly as good, but a little cheaper, are Orca-coated mugs (these are becoming easier to get hold of these days). Both types are diswasher-safe.

It's sometimes not worth saving a few quid on a box of mugs when there are quality coated mugs available for not much more.

Likewise, the unbranded paper cost you £8.99 - which is 9p per sheet, or 3p per mug. Just a couple of quid more will get you a quality economy paper like Xpres paper - which works out to 11.5p per sheet, or 4p per mug. Do you really need to save 1p per mug?

At least if you use tried-and-tested mugs and paper first, you'll know if there's a problem with your time/temp or set-up. If it all works fine, which it should, you can then experiment with cheaper items/paper.

Welcome Nicola.
I have recently started as well, I agree with the other post seriously look at the Ricoh, if for no other reason than the ink doesnt dry up.
