shuzail mug press problem

hi guys i got an old looking shuzail mug press its been working fineutil today i wemt to press a mug and as i pulled the level i mheard like a loud cracking sound

first i thought it was th4e mug but when i took it out later there was a cold spot line down one side. am i right in saying the element has gone i since tryed 3 other mugs same trhing

can these elements still be bought ay advice please
