Just had it fewminutes ago! Makes me wonder why on earth well known ink manufacturer wont invest they money in to proffesional inkjet printer designed to run with sublimation inks...

dont know. But point os there is somone who actualy care about people that use transfer paper. Would be nice if ink manufacturer would care about us and sevelope printer that is designd for subli ink.

I'm confused - don't oki already make printers that cater for transfers.

I think OKI can handle transfers but is not designd for them one from conde s axtualy design to work with transfers. Is like epson. It will work with subli inks but for how long and when will it faill ???

My take on the new oki is the drivers have been tweeked, same as TMT printers. I'd bet that the same printer will be sold as a normal laser printer with standard drivers.

Maybe. But you still have warranty from manufacturer.

It looks just like the TMT oki printer, and I tend to agree with John about the driver tweak. I've been using an Oki c5800 for about 3 or 4 years now with quite a few different brands of transfer paper...not had any problems yet
