I have today took delivery of glass mugs from the transfer press, it is the first time ever printing to glass and I see it says on thier site to 'saturate' the colours when printing?
I use Corel draw 12 for printing and wondered if anyone on here has experiance 'saturating' thier colours before pressing these mugs or any other useful tips for them??

GLASS MUGS from transfer press
Re: GLASS MUGS from transfer press
Never done glass mugs before Paul but after reading on the Transfer Press I think that you need to saturate the colours a little as the base colour on the glass is clear and not white like a normal sheet of paper (or substrate).
You should be able to saturate the image easily in Corel Draw 12 (don't normally use Corel I'm afraid - I've stuck with photoshop elements, the easy option!)

In Coreldraw go to:
effects - adjust - hue/saturation/lightness.
I've never used this before but judging by effect you'll have to be very careful how much you give it!

Re: GLASS MUGS from transfer press
I would even risk to say that somone from transfer press made a little mistake
You want to give it a larger contrast. not saturation as this will change all colours

Well thats what I thought and when I adjusted saturation it makes blacks go green etc............ The sample they show on the site is clearly not a sublimated mug, as the black is SOLID and not transulent!
