Re: fonts
Hi Steve,
FAO Steve: Sorry mate, I wasn't having a go at you I was just a little confused as I have used 1001 fonts and I didn't think you needed a licence.
Reference helping out a fellow colleague - it's great that we all can help one another (and I have many times in the past and will continue to do so) but my comments on the licence bit referred to you having a licence to do something but not others. As an example, designers purchase fonts to be different from others in their designs not using standard fonts. This puts their designs unique as most people wouldn't invest in the hundreds of pounds (sometimes more) just to have a typeface look different. Once purchased those fonts belong to them an in some cases can only be used on a single design.
FAO Stuart: I'm not sure but I think that JWT is a group name for a collection of fonts. I did try googling them but got nothing. Something else that may help - have you got the logo(s) that you created for the taekwondo club before your PC went down? We could have a look at them (in particular the fontmeister John) and you can also upload the image to 'what the font' where it will try to detect the font ...................... it's an idea?
