Once you have printed your image, is there a time limit (mins/hours) that you have to apply the image. What i mean is can I print the image and wait 3-4 hours before applying it.

Yes, you can wait for that time. I've seen a change in the image if left for weeks but many users say that the print will be fine, some keep in air tight bags if needed on another day.

When I print and don't use straight away I always place in a bag, that's only to stop dust and accidents happen. Specks of dust ect can leave a mark on your mug,

I'm often printing transfers one day to use the next day (or even the day after). I put prints inside one of those sealable A4 bags to keep moisture out.
