Re: Bodywarmers?

Post by AdamB »

Hi all,

I was asked today if I can get body warmers and print a design on them that I normally use for him for hoodies, t-shirts etc.

Now, I know I can get bodywarmers but I was wondering if anyone had pressed vinyl on them before?

I only ask with them being padded etc ................... does it affect the padding when pressed with pressure?

Many thanks

Adam

I have done them before, i just adjusted my press, although when squished they are not much thicker than the arm of a hoodie with the arm pad in for pressing, just take care with the material as some of them have a high nylon content

Do you mean the nylon affect the pressing or the vinyl sticking to the material Laura?

I have had a look at different types of vinyl and although the one I use is good for polyester and cotton I'll need a different one with nylon.

make sure you use a good teflon sheet, sometimes the thread on the garments can go shiny when pressed, and obviously you will need to press a bit cooler with the nylon ones. and yes the vinyl type too, depending ont he material the bodywarmer is made of
