Even better is the portable version of 7-Zip: http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/7-zip_portable

Doesn't need installing, runs from a USB stick or other media.

I use 7-Zip to handle small backups. I have several folders on several drives that I need to backup to CD on a weekly bases, so I've set up a command-line batch file that I just have to double-click. That runs 7-Zip Portable without opening the whole app and creates a single archive of all the required folders from all the drives (excluding temporary files) ready for me to burn to a CD.

More software should be this free and this convenient.
