Yeah please do mate - I'm sure the answer will be good for everyone (myself included). I've read all the posts and even though I have the licence I'm still thinking about the marketing side of things - like someone said "it's such a grey area".purpledragon;29996 wrote:total off subject i sent that email adam i'll let you know the reply when i get it re koolart

its little bit like with "cheap" sublimation gear sellers of ebay "... you can easly sell printed mug or mousemat for £10-£15"purpledragon;29993 wrote:you're right paul they obviously sell them but how many do they sell we cant tell that Paul hirst must have access to that info so we can only take his word for it.

Exactly Paul you hit the nail on the head lets face it if you believe some of these sublimation set up companies who promise thousands in profits because you can sell a mug for £15.00 it sounds great the reality is totally differnt.Paul;29999 wrote:its little bit like with "cheap" sublimation gear sellers of ebay "... you can easly sell printed mug or mousemat for £10-£15"
this always make me loughPeople see this prices and think to them selfs... "yee! I could do it!" but in reality you propobly need to go down something like 50% of this price to sell anything! another maketing move.
Adam my advice would definatly be, use extreme caution when using certain companies names in your advertising as i said Harley davidson were very definate when they told me i can not use their name in anyway shape or form, Maybe they were trying to scare me ( it worked) but you do have to wonder
Re: iPhone size mobile pouches?
I answered JSR in the tone he had commented about the products .....
I see people say they cannot find anywhere in the UK selling these products ... Okay
www.likemycase.com
www.incased.co.uk
www.cafepress.co.uk
There are others as well but those will do and I can assure you that these guys have paid 10s of thousands to get into this business and will be producing iPhone covers maybe £1.50 cheaper than using the system we have put together. As for the comment about a plastic cases from the US (and the UK and eBay for that matter) being 6 or 7 dollars Yup I agree that they are but these products are not customised they are mass produced hence my comment regarding "underselling the benefits of digital imaging" JSR's original comments about the supplier (US /ME) basically gouging did not pull any punches likewise I did'nt do the same
In the US I do have knowledge yes about the size of the market and the numbers I can assure you are pretty darn close. I have taken one order for around 30k blank cases from one large US retailer that provides gift fulfillment ......
Final point without wanting to get anyones backs up is Just because a product may not be suitable for the market / operation that you are running does not mean that the supplier / product is a rip off or you are being gouged (Ferrari / Skoda )
Anyhows nice to be around despite the warm reception
PS How do I get this site to email when a reply to a thread has been posted so i don't have to keep checking in....

It's good to have another supplier here but I'm not sure about your sales technique - you seem to be alienating your company to potential customers with your manner and the attitude you have shown in your posts. You've only made 5 posts but have probably put the same amount of noses out of joint.
Welcome to the forum anyway, and good luck with your products.
