Yeah - fair one!

never thought about the gold and silver finish.

If there are domes to protect the image then why bother sublimating it?

Would you not be able to print onto adhesive white paper with pigment ink and then use the dome to cover the image for protection?

Obviously I haven't seen the cufflinks and I'm just wondering???
You've made a good point, (I cover the whole metal in a colour ) I never thought of that but it is option that I will considered if I cannot get sublimation right. I need cuff links and lapel pins to offer so if this doesn't work then I'll try another way, and there domming ( is that the word) so I going to have to try the other two if I don't get good consistent results with the sublimation. mad at my self for not ordering extra metal. By the way the jumping of the forum is harder when you had a drink, I just had a meal out and a double vodka and it not easy.

The vodka has worn off and I just got my thinking head back on, I may have ruined on metal but is there anything to stop me printing (not sure what paper to use ) then using the domes to protect it Or is that to simple and I'm looking at this through vodka eyes

I've been looking the past hour and watching videos. They make it looks so simple. I bet it isn't. Trouble is I have got a cutter, did think abut buying a robo from bms, but I've been saving for the bn-20 printer cutter. Nothing is simple looks like its back to vodka rose glasses
