Acrylic Photo Blocks

whilst looking on youtube for a demo, I came across this:

This guy basically takes a photo and sticks it to the block...... would this be a cheaper alternative, or not as classy as printing them? I havent done anything like this yet, but I like the look of them

As anyone had any success with doing them either way?

This actualy similar to proper wa of doing acrylic prints. But proper way involve cold laminating.
Thats why i dont understand subli acrylic. Subli acrylic is reinveting the wheel. But more pricey... This block from video as a finished product cost them about fiver. How much cost you subli acrylic black...?

so....this seems a much cheaper way of doing it - I can get quality prints done very cheap, then just need to find the acrylic block with the adhesive on...and bingo!

Well... Yes. Photograph printed in the lab or on normal inkjet will have more colours and will be better quality. And no . You dont need adhesive blick. You buy special film that is suitable for acrylic. Will post link any min.

its not long. imaging doin this youself you not going to talk about it every time. just stick it and tru the roller of it go. block done
