Can anyone tell me where you can buy an engraving tool for the craft robo silhouette? I've seen it on youtube but can't see one for sale anywhere. Pipesy

I've not heard of this but would be interested myself if such a thing exists (and fits the older robo)

Didn't realise you could do engraving with the craft robbo ............... interesting!

How do you hold the plate to be engraved in place, and I suppose that there is a template that must be used to get the tip to cut in the right place??

I believe with the Robo, it would need to be on a mat and possibly taped in place..

There's probably templates for these things to be found on the www :)

what's different abou the cougar? Do you not need a cutting mat/sheet with these?

The cougar would still require a mat for engraving.. unless you were engraving larger items on the cougar, or cutting afterwards with something capable.. and had a large sheet going through.. as it has great grit rollers and pinch wheels.. so flatbed would be a possibility..

It's a fab piece of kit.. but the reason I have one is that not only can I cut my vinyl on it.. I can make acetate boxes, card boxes and more with it.. as it has a maximum 950g pressure available.
