Coreldraw - Serial Number

Anyone using Coreldraw X4? Just bought a new copy and the back plastic is torn, lower left corner of the inlay has been removed. I'm assuming this is where the serial should be?

Justin, I think there is a way where you can find the serial number from the properties section on the disk. I'm sure I saw someone do this once but, for the life of me I can't remember what he did. Someone else on here might know what to do & have an idea what I'm on about. Hope you get it sorted out.

If the serial number was ripped off a legal copy then cant you go back to the shop?
where you got it . Failing that its likly you will need to ring corel to get them to give you a working key

Yes, bought it off eBay, awaiting their reply. They told me it was Full Version with serial number but sealed. It also states Americas Edition on the side, I assume this is just a regional variation but either way it'll be going back!

Justin, if it was off ebay its more likely a copy, been down that route and the trouble it caused just wasn't worth it.

It looks to be an original piece of software, seller has been quick to respond. Not sure as the reg number is on that corner of the packaging after all but they're dealing with it now so hopefully get sorted.

If it's legit he wouldn't be selling an America's version in the uk - sounds very similar to my experience as that's what I bought, big mistake. Just looked on fleebay and there's only 2 sellers, one selling home edition and the other may be the one you bought off. None of these ebayers are registered corel resellers so the chances of the software being legit is slim, very slim at that price

Yeah, I've asked them for a full refund as I'm not happy, they've sent a picture of the missing area on another disc, could be a serial number but I'm taking no chances. They reckon Americas is the same but it isn't what I thought I was buying so I'll get money back.

Cheers for that, I sent this one back and got a full refund. I've since bought a proper working version with serial number
