Re: Red and Black pencil cases - why different sized flaps?

A few months back we noticed the black pencil case flaps from BMS suddenly grew about 2cm taller (top-to-bottom) than the red ones, I don't know why this happened but it meant a bit of tweaking with designs etc so that nothing important got chopped off the bottom on the red ones. Then when we ordered a batch last time they matched the red ones again (shorter flaps) so we thought hooray! and went back to the old templates. But then this week we ordered more and we're back to the bigger flaps again?

Why does this keep happening and has anybody else ever noticed? When will the manufacturers ever settle on one size and keep it that way! lol!

Bizarre - they all come from exactly the same place as well!

That is strange then, they change slightly in different ways all the time so we always thought there must be different suppliers \ manufacturers.

Sometimes the bags they come in are different to - some have just one bit of tape on that comes off dead easy, but sometimes they come with two bits of tape that are stuck permanently and wont come off without ripping the bag. Also the actual fabric of the black ones changes between sometimes stiff like cardboard and other times they're soft like the red ones. It's always struck me as odd that they're never the same twice, lol :)

Can only be different batches that account for this, but they've always come from the same supplier.
