Yup! - I'll help you out massively by pointing out that the images you're seeking - like ALL images everywhere - Are subject to the provisions of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988. And using them without a licence is likely to get you into all sorts of trouble.

You'll need to go back to whoever sold the images to you as, even if somone HAS done their own .eps it's unlikely they can pass it on without a) breaking the law themselves and b) leaving YOU exposed to litigation as what you run from that copy won't be licenced either!

Nope - Just about every kind of creative work comes under the act... If you doodle a stick man on the corner of a napkin you automatically own the copyright to it! - providing it's an original and not a copy of somone else's stick man!

Contrary to what you may have heard it applies automatically, doesn't need 'registering' (can't be madated to be actually under the Berne Convention) and exists in various 'layers' - Your 'Ask Frank' thing probably has at least two, possibly three people's work incorporated in it for instance...

Unless the guy who sold you the licence to it has himself licences to the photo and logo you're still potentially in trouble as the composite work is in itself an infringing work!

Well, you either create your own material or buy it in from legitimate sources...

One of the overheads of any business I'm afraid. - People have either paid good money to use certain images or created them themselves. Most don't take at all kindly to them being 'lifted'. - As it's become easier to reproduce things like T-shits, badges, mugs ,photos etc rights owners have become ever-more litigous in order to protect their interests...

There probably ARE people who can sell you legit artwork for printing up though...
