Hi guys,

I am thinking of getting onto the t-shirt/mug area for my event printing. I am looking at this press and was wondering if any of you either have one or have ordered from BMS in the past.

Also how much do you guys sell your t-shirts and mugs for? I will be printing these on-site at events.

Thanks,

Ian

Hi Ian,

I have a combination press just like that one & never had a problem with it but, just use it as a flat press these days as I have a seperate mug press which makes my life easier. I would go for the Ricoh GX7000 too as I think this would be such a good option on first setting up.

BMS are very good & I would have no hesitation in buying from them at anytime in fact they are very quality & customer focused & the back up is really good too.

As far as pricing goes that is up to you really & no doubt others will give you some good advice on this. Although you might like to have a look through the forum as this is a subject that has been covered on several previous occasions.

printing and selling at events normally means you can charge a premium, as hopefully you will be the only one there offering the service, depends on what you will be putting on them at the events, but if its photos relevant to the day ie someone sat in their car at a car show or with their horse at a horse show, you should be looking at the £8-£10 mark for a mug - hope that helps. make sure you invest well with the generator, the heat press will make everything flicker, you need at least a 2.8kva
