B1100 gets good reviews. CIS can be a little temperamental at times, I use one here with few problems but prefer refil carts wherever possible. B1100 is a good price but obv. this rises steeply with your initial ink costs. If simplicity is what you want (and who wouldn't starting off) then the Ricoh is a great option. No CIS, few head blockages etc. so you're up and running quicker and stay working for longer. They work out a little more expensive but not enough to be put off.

Ummm....

Why not just buy some empty refillable cartridges, a set of sub ink, and carry on using the SX415?

I'm using a 415 for sublimation myself - using some 'random' sub ink we got off Ebay. Not had a problem.

I would do what matt mentioned. just get the ciss or refills for your exisiting printer. fill it up with subli ink and get your profile made. cheapes option i think.

Regards B1100 this is great sublimation printer! i got it and love it. and you know how fast can it print ;)
