Re: Ink pad reset utility for epsons!
hope you're also emptying your waste ink tank / felt pad in the printer or fitting an external waste ink tank or sooner or later your gonna get ink everywhere when it overflows!, it's ok using this but its only half of what needs to be done
Re: Ink pad reset utility for epsons!
I've not done this yet, ............................it is still new'ish,..............................................
so can you tell me what I need to do? is it a case of removing the tank & felt & cleaning it???? (gessing it is clicked in/out)
then reseting the memory with the above down load from Paul ???????.
Thanks.
Re: Ink pad reset utility for epsons!
Not totally convinced of the need to empty the waste pads on the A4/A3 models as the way these printers work is they deposit the liquid ink into a large blotting pad inside the printer. This gets wet but most of the liquid would evaporate leaving a discoloured pad inside. I've known printers to be reset 4+ times without problems. On the larger machines the ink gets deposited into a plastic waste tank which just holds liquid ink so this just fills up and needs to be physically emptied or you'll end up with ink overflowing.DS Designs;23831 wrote:hope you're also emptying your waste ink tank / felt pad in the printer or fitting an external waste ink tank or sooner or later your gonna get ink everywhere when it overflows!, it's ok using this but its only half of what needs to be done
