Having a couple of issues doing this. If I drag and drop or import it changes the colours of the image. I've opened the image up in Photoshop and re-saved as a PDF and it looks ok when imported but possibly some loss in quality, could it be the original saved PDF is at fault?

I had the same problem today.... trying to open PDF in coreldraw and it started moving "individual" parts of my design... ended up in a right mess so went back into PS and sorted it in there :-/

There are variables when saving a pdf that you can adjust - maybe whoever saved it first didn't have these set correctly.

Could well be the case, I'll need to check that.

OK, opened up with Fusion but can't see any benefit other than saving another way...which I can do in Adobe?

The imported/dragged image almost appears to look like a negative of the actual picture.

Opened it in Illustrator and saves as eps, looked ok on screen but slight problem when printing. I will try with ai format as well.

When you open a new document in Illustrator, the screen gives 2 options, cmyk and rgb, which should I choose?
