Jenny if you put your scan (the template) on the top of the blue background and then turn down the transparency you can see what your working with better.
Once you have the scan on top, select that area with the 'select' tool - then inverse your selection, then (whilst its still being selected) click on the purple background and press delete.
You should then delete the background giving you a template size in blue.

Have done the tenplate and altered it to suit my designs and perfect, thank you every one for advice

the tenplate for fine but when pressed the colours are what I wanted, bt the normal glossy look that you get was'nt there, it was the right blue, but looked like a matt finsh, any ideas why this is.

sorry Adam I have sent you a email from the forum but did not know how to send a image, can you pm with your email please, I know what I have done wrong, but not sure how to fix it, so still need help

Tried to send it with email but it keeps failing I have hardly every been able to send attachment (virgin media,) what shall I do

One way is to upload it to your own web space on a new page as a zip file. send me the link by email
