Hi Jennywren, the only small printer / cutter i remember was the Roland PC12, the smaller version of the PC60 and PC600, i personally have never heard of one this small since.

I did see that about year ago but I suppose the next size is 24 printer cutter, looking to buy but do need a good price on one, second hand would be better but have'nt seen any, the 12 inch would have been ideal as a starter

Im 99.9% sure they don't make a 24" printer / cutter now, so it would have to be a second hand one. They do go sometimes on ebay, but be careful if you go for a Roland PC60 or PC600 as I believe nowdays the heads are as rare as hens teeth, and probably have a price to match.......... I did buy a PC12 when i started out and was very green...that needed new heads and would have cost more to get them replaced than the printer cost me......

If you're only looking for 12" wide then will a Craft ROBO cutter work with your existing printers?

Ideally if I could do car stickers which I believe i can with the robo cutter, but its the spaying with what ever its called with a layer to make it waterproof, I've tried spaying on model car decals and know this sounds really stupid and I mean stupid, but i can not use a spay can for life nor money, go have lol my family do. I'm either two heavy handed or and miss bits, I mean how hard can that be, it is for me, so if there spray I run the other way and have got it in my head( mission impossible)

Printable laser vinyl, water decal and cling are all water proof and can be cut with the robo. No need for spraying and any laser printer will print onto these materials.

For some reason I thought I read on this forum that for car stickers you need spray. But is it something I will give serious considerations to the robo.
