Round Sublimation Coasters
Re: Round Sublimation Coasters
There's been a few posts on here about round sublimation coasters so I thought I'd post on here that we now have these available from stock. They are the 90mm round wood versions cut from the UniSub board.

One of the advantages of round coasters is that you can buy the cork backing as a separate item, see: http://www.listawoodtradesupplies.com/i ... ?id=CB0001
Isn't it time that the backing (both cork and baize) was available as separate items to both square and round coasters?

Due in just after the Easter Holidays. They are due to dock on the 20th April so by the time we get them through customs and arrange delivery it will in the week of Easter Monday hopefully. If you add your email address to just under the "out of stock" notice then as soon as we update the website you'll get an automated email.are the phone pouches in stock yet ? sorry for hijacking this thread
Green baize backing is available for the UniSub coasters and one of the UniSub placemats separately now online so we are testing the water with these. The baize from the company that makes the coasters is a expensive and they have increased their prices. Watch this space to see though...Isn't it time that the backing (both cork and baize) was available as separate items to both square and round coasters?
Re: Round Sublimation Coasters
Forgot to add that the postage options are going up shortly. We haven't increased our prices with the Royal Mail increase earlier this month, but postage rates will be going up by 25p as soon as I get around to it.

Re: Round Sublimation Coasters
I've recently started to make my own cork backing for different size placemats etc. I can't see anywhere that sells Unisub with cork backed on larger mats and no option to buy seperate so might consider supplying to members if there's a demand. It isn't cheap at the moment though, not until I can buy in much larger bulkJSR;20675 wrote:Isn't it time that the backing (both cork and baize) was available as separate items to both square and round coasters?
Re: Round Sublimation Coasters
I've struggled to find a good quality cork backing. Are you cutting these yourself with tooling or just a sharp knife? We've now found a good biaze backing and have had tooling commissioned for the specific products and could use the same tooling for cork if that would work.

Cutting from self adhesive sheets with scalpel at the moment. Using a corner rounder to get the corners spot on. Seems to be working well. A little fiddly but works for small numbers. I can probably get them made up to fit but need to get the numbers up first.
