Are there gift/poly boxes you can buy flatpacked to put thrugh a printer then a message or logo can be printed on it via an inkjet say?

i just normally put my individual mugs in one of bms poly mailers then put tape round them then use royal mail online to print postage with our logo on and send on.

Great idea for most, but I have a few potential clients in mind that would give the mug out in a box with a message displayed..

I think these will be too thick for a standard printer.

I was wondering if there was some card sheets for inkjets like the thickness of the sheets used for card making or business cards with say a perforated outline you can push out and fold together.. but I'll check out that site, at first glance it looks quie good!

most business cards are 300 or 350 gsm not really ideal for posting but ok for personal delivery or handing to the customer
or even putting inside the normal double walled type

also check your printer can take that thick card
i know i've had a nightmare lately with thick card and printers with it jamming up

i print cards mate sorry
i can send you a sheet of 300 or 350 gsm card if you'd like to try it

but they are only A4 size so not even sure it'll be big enough for mugs

I've been thinking of doing this, but the restriction on the parcel having to be sent the day after buying the shipping just puts me off. Sometimes I'm putting together orders over a couple of days and then taking them all to the Post Office at the same time. If buying online means some of those payments will have expired, it just doesn't make sense.

Also, they're going to start charging for logo printing soon - an extra 6p each time, I think. Given that the postal charges are about to go up by a hefty amount because it's April, the Royal Mail are seemingly doing everything they can to price themselves out of the market (well, they would if they didn't have the monopoly).
