just had a reply from Henry the one he sells isn't compatible with macs :(
so looks like its a robo now then

and just rung MDP and they have said YES it does work with macs
might not be out of the box he said the most i'd have to do is upload an update from their site but yes the new software is compatible
and they do cut full A4 size

so i will have to get one of them next week then :)

I've got the latest one with lcd screen and there is always an 'uncuttable' 1cm border at the sides left by the software, also a 3cm border top and bottom (plus some odd squares) when using the registration marks (when printing and cutting from the software). These seem to disapear when using the carrier sheet on screen so it's possible it will cut right to the edge that way (although the registration marks area remains).

I can comfortably cut an area 190mm wide by 240mm high using registration marks so pretty good. Not a good as a wide body cutter though I guess.

no cutter can ever cut as wide as it is, as the cutter assembly has to slide over if that makes sense.

Smitch - was was the answer re the guarantee on the cutter - you seemed certain it would be more than the stated 3 months ??
