need help with robo please

Hello again
i have decided to get a robo cutter there are a few on ebay at the min, or if i don't win 1 of them i'll have to buy new
i have decided on a robo due to space etc being on the boat

what i need to know is how do i work them i have a macbook and ps4
what is a good software?
do i import the image from ps to the cutter's software? or is there an add on for ps that allows me to cut from there?

also where is a good place to get vinyl from?
for now i will porb just need black and red
is it best to buy a roll or A4 sheets?

so many questions lol

its something i kept thinking about but now my brother's boy wants me to make him some t's in 100% cotton

I have a couple (one dead ish) and good little cutters. I'd go for new if you can then at least you get the warranty (which I believe can be upgraded on their website to two years) - my first one got faulty after a year of hard use, a loose connection on the usb connector I believe, so probably just needs resoldering. Moved it around too much I think, so it must have worked loose.

Not sure if they have software to work with a Mac, they come with some reasonably handy software, but may be only PC probably worth checking with supplier on that. Image can be loaded in as a jpeg (and a few other types I believe) and the supplied software will work out the cuts. Can be worked direct from Coreldraw (except my version is too old) so might well work direct from PS, again the suppliers should be able to tell you that (or direct info from Robo website maybe)

Vinyl by the metre is cheaper but you'll have to cut it to width yourself, easy to do if you want to save a bit. I get mine from BMS and Creative, both good.

You can do some quite creative stuff with it, flock is also good and I sometimes use that as a background for embroidery if it's a large piece, can look quite effective on the right garment.

I would check first if you can use it with your mac my friend. Best and easyest way to use CR IMO is corelDraw and included on cr cd plug in. Dont forget one think (this is what pee me off ) I been told I can cut up to A4 but in reality is nowhere near A4. so you will be limited with size.

oh right thanks for that Paul as yes A4 is pretty important as lots of ppl work in that size
i like the one you pm'd me about a few weeks ago but as i said space is a real issue here

they do say they work with mac so i'm hoping they will if not the wife has a silly tiny netbook thing
although i haven't got a clue how to use coral and don't have it either
