I've got some high vis vests to do, as they are 100% Polyester I was going to dye sub them, just wondered how I go on with the reflective band will this melt under the press or will it be OK, I've not done these before

I've printed the yellow hi viz vests in the past and not had any problem with the reflective band. I did however find the yellow from the vest transferred to the base platen so lesson learn't and now always have greasproof under the vest.

yes i'll back that one up
i've done hi-viz as well and had no problem with the reflective strip but as Tip said make sure you put disposable sheets under and on top of the hi-viz
as the colour bleeds like you wouldn't believe

Just a quick note - if using heat tape on hi viz put it on the fabric only not the reflective strips - it melts on the strips and when taken off leaves marks or pulls the coating off.

Cannot remember timings but I think it was around 180/190 @ 1 minute - please correct if this is wrong.

Just done one, its sublimated well, but I'm getting quite a colour shift due to the flourescent yellow/green colour of the vest, I want a dark blue any ideas what colour what colour to try to get this accounting for the colour shift
