Went to the show today, pretty much as I expected nothing really groundbreaking I was suprised at how many exhibitors said there seemed to be lots and lots of new start up businesses at the show this year, so looks like the industry may become more competitive for all of us going forward.

I wanted to take another look at the magic touch wow process, but am still not convinced as it seems quite long winded in practice and I have concerns about the registration between the mask and image, great guys at magic touch though.

Once again I was seriously impressed with the versacamm machines and they have some good deals on these at the moment, but its still a major investment

This is the easy bit really - once you have a couple of registration marks printed then lining them up is easy. Did TMT have their pneumatic press which was in the closed position all the time they were NOT pressing? - that keeps the heat up in the base of the press to ensure a good transfer when using WOW.

Yes I suppose registration marks would work, I guessing you would then have to cut these out to stop them transferring on the the garment?.

The were using a swring away press, I didn't notice that this was kept closed when not pressing but did notice they had a piece of what looks like foam on the press and when I enquired they informed me that this was essential to the process and cost £25.

Mainly I am looking for the a way of producing full colour designs onto dark garments particulary polo's and from one offs to large runs , I'm just not sure this process is the best solution for this.

Me too, probably why I came away dissapointed, just so much stuff I can't afford

The other machine I was impressed with was the little ribbon printing machine, this was a great little machine for not to much money, I did some sashes earlier in the year and this order alone would of nearly paid for this machine outright, if I get more orders for these I might have to invest

Yes you just cut them away. The other bit is called the WOW Pad and something like that is necessary. We have the WOW papers available in sample packs of 5 now which saves having to buy a pack of 50 and a huge investment.

Jason, Interested in the ribbon printer, what type of print was it?

Hi John, it was foil transfer and the price was £495 including the software which was a doddle to use the machines was tiny i didn't even notice it at first.

Martin thanks but I haven't got a laser printer to try them on at the moment
