Of all the shopping cart providers you are all using, do any of them allow the customer to upload an image at the same time as ordering a mug? I'd quite like to have a shop like photobox.co.uk but that's gonna cost me!

Image upload is built into Zen Cart and it's free. You can also get free Royal Mail shipping modules and image enhancement tools from the community on there too.

With any image upload you need to ensure you put limitations on the file size, otherwise competitors could deliberately disable your web site by uploading a large file to exceed your hosting capacity.

I've been using ZenCart here for a few years now. At the time, I was primarily looking for free software with image upload built-in.

There's a lot that ZenCart can do, but it's not the most intuitive thing around - the back-end is a bit rough. Some of the newer ones like Prestashop might be worth looking at, but I don't have experience of them.

i used to have zen for my shop and hated it
the support was rubbish and so were the mods etc
thats why in the end i paid for the software
although the cubecart forum is still pretty rubbish for support, but if you get really stuck u can email cube direct and its sorted within a few hours
