Sign Board wanted ...........

Hi all,

I need to get hold of a sign board (I am doing the vinyl in shop).

The sign is going under another that is black so needs to be a black face and the current sign measures 122cm by 61cm.

I don't want to get the (temp) correx stuff as it'll be a permanent sign and out in all weathers.

Anyone any ideas where I can get one from, I just called my local sign place and they said I would have to buy a complete board at 8 foot by 4 foot at £58 plus VAT ! (not sure if this is a good deal or not but more than I expected!).

Yeh, but you'll get the offcuts too!
Get Ali Composite board/panel, its the best way to do these signs.

Sorry, thought you were buying the panel from a distributor. You'll not get the off cuts from a sign shop!

That's ok John - no probs.

MDP don't ship out Ali Comp Boards no more (problem with shipping it says).

I have just found some Black Cast Acrylic Signage for the specs that I need for about £34 delivered ............ is this about right?
