Thanks guys, it gives some ideas of what people else do (a mixed opinion really).

FAO Steve (smitch6)
- intrigued on the 'design', i'd love to see what you mean but I'd not use it as I like to use my own designs (no offence meant).

FAO JohnG - Good ideas mate, and it's good to get other ideas as it's too easy to stick with your own (as in mine) and think it's the best.

FAO John (Stitchup)
- the display is in tatters at the moment as I have started stripping things away, but if you are interested I'll post up pics when I'm done? Have you got a shop then John?

FAO Laura (Mrs Maggot)
- the thing is, I get drawn into use my own pics of the kids as I think they're gorgeous and everyone says "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" when they see them - but does this sell more - who know?

FAO Jennywren
- So do you buy in manufactured mugs and display these with your own designs and personalised mugs? And as Steve said, it would be good to see some of you displays.

ALL: for those that do have displays, do you think it would be a good idea to post up pics of their displays?

No I sell personalized mug and buy in mugs, both different and have different prices to. I have mug stands that take 48 mugs , two of them, When you buy a certain amount of mugs most companies will included a mug stand ( ie spend over 200 and you get a mug stand. I sell over 100 different mugs all with different themes. Will take photo but not for a couple of months, we signed today for a shop , it needs refitting and I'm still running the 3 units of which I will give up when we move over,
PHOTOSCPOE. Its cheaper for me to buy in ( and the time factor.) Trains are very popular, but I buy them in most of the items I sell are related to men, that's the section I cater for

I used to think different images for a display but I remember at the P&P show a few years back, one of the suppliers had a display of the usual subli blanks printed up using the same brightly coloured design and it looked reall good...may still have a pic somewhere.

You can get a bit of an idea if you look in the background of any of the Conde videos with their display.
