A quick question on displaying items .....
Re: A quick question on displaying items .....
So,
this is the question.
I have quite a big range of gifts that I can make and I have a display in the window of the shop and other display products in store.
Would 'you' do all of the products with the same image so people can see the versatility of the item and the range of items (perhaps a multi match buy) that are available?
or
Would you put a different image on each item?

Re: A quick question on displaying items .....
i'd say different images
like colourful text on 1 and a photo on another, then a design you made up etc
i think if its all the same image ppl don't realise they can have dif things on there
they might just think you are selling them items with that picture

Re: A quick question on displaying items .....
I'd say different too! people may get bored of looking at the same image. You could try quirky images with bold colours that really stand out - that would catch passerbys.
Re: A quick question on displaying items .....

different images, but maybe repeats of the same helf dozen so the shop display still has some of what your after - the adaptability of what you can offer - remember some kids, some pets, some art

Re: A quick question on displaying items .....
i have 6 mugs stack . three on bottom . then two and one on top, it gives height , depth and if they are all different color and designs the one on top I use to say, personal mugs, price. I use 4 coasters three with images and one with price etc, I three mouse mats, two design one price etc Hope this give a rough idea. It give a more visual display and them a idea of what they can put on mugs.
Re: A quick question on displaying items .....
that sounds a good display Jenny, have u got any pics?
Re: A quick question on displaying items .....
I look around other shops and see how the display and I've learnt on mug on own does not sell, groups of things do. If I looking for ideas I look around shops supermarkets that sell similar stuff to me and see how they display and put my stamp on it, Argos books are good for ideas and prices, just little cheats I've learnt over 16 years in trade.
