I am puzzled by this companies description of what they are doing, they are weeding a design out of a "sheet of ink" is it me - or is this simply vinyl/flex given a more "expensive" name "plotter printing"

It's just vinyl by the looks of it. I used to use that company for my DTG work when I was in Nottingham

I can't comment on folks calling things by another name, as I always use a completely different name for all my sublimation printing.
The only models I use for my tees are flat vector templates. Not as sexy, but far easier to pose and with no prima donna tantrums to contend with.

i might change my website to show "plotter printing" where needed lol, it just sounds far more technical than vinyl/flex
