Re: Blizzard Convection Oven Owners
Having just had some duff prints due to fading towards the handle I decided my adkins presses needed new blankets. BUGGER they are expensive!
I have a George Knight mug press which is a cracker. I suspect I would have heart attack if I needed a blanket for that.
Blizzard oven ordered. Wraps ordered.
This thread has been really useful in making the decision.
Cheers folks.

xpres 11oz Orca mugs
Epson ET1810 printer
Ink Experts Style Paper
Inktec Sublinova Ink
Blizzard Oven
Wraps plus a liner.
Sweet spot for me appears to be 25 mins at 160 degrees.
I also found that when I was using Adkins mug presses I had to extend time with this set up / mugs.
If it changes as I use the oven more, I will edit this post.

Sweet spot for me appears to be 26 mins at 170 degrees has produced best results on these mugs. Blacker blacks and punchy colours
BUT
xpres 5013 mugs

20 mins at 160 degrees produces a superior print with regard to colours and crisper outlines.

Re: Blizzard Convection Oven Owners
Not wanting to hijack the thread but we have 2 ovens available with wraps if anyone wants them
Re: Blizzard Convection Oven Owners
The 5013 mugs are nearly 40% more expensive to purchase but offer saving in time in oven, less electric (160 degrees v 170 degrees), more mugs per hour, improved print quality, possibly fewer duff prints. Time will tell.
Hard call without geeking out over it in pure financial terms.
