State of play with dye sublimation 2026 - wearables

HI all,
I appreciate dye sub on 3d is different.

WHats the situation in 2026 regards dyesub onto wearables like tshirts,etc.
I always thought polyester was horrible to wear and I remember they started puting poly print areas onto t shirts but that was a long tine ago.

Are people still dyesubbing clothes or is it all DTF/DTG these days?

I find the better quality polyester Ts are very good to wear. The colours and durability is excellent.
I'll caveat that with I have just come back to printing myself and I am comparing against POD sites that I have used for cotton Ts.

I'll be interested to hear how things have progressed for those printing themselves.
