Security Cameras

I have a couple of e-bikes that I have to keep undercover but outside in our back garden. We live in a flat and dont have a garage and the garden is accessible from the back. I am looking for a small security camera system that can watch over the bikes. So much to choose from online that Im drowned in information. Wifi covers outside.
Anybody got any pointers as to where to look or buy ?

I just use a Swann system, both on my home and business premises. They come with a subsription free smart phone app so you can view the cameras when away from home.

The first thing to remember is that although the cameras can be viewed at all times through the monitor or app they are only RECORDING when the pir is triggered, so don't have them too far away from the bikes.

Also get a system with a 1TB hard drive so that recorded information will not be written over too quickly.

Blink are also good, if you only want one or two cameras. A lot will depend on if you want to have an annual subscription to use the app.

Ive gone one better and invested in a D lock from Litelok, the X1. We´ve D locked the ebike and my wifes Etrike together. And then both of them D locked to the fence. Plus a few chain locks from Abus to add to the mixture. I know what you mean about just recording a hooded yob but a camera adds another layer just in case. The back yard where the bikes are all stored is shared by my neighbours and they want cameras too. And we have a big light activated by a movement detector.

These ebikes have a motor locking system controlled from the Bosch app. Walk away from the bike or turn it off and the motor locks. There is also a tracker installed which informs me when the bike is disturbed or moved. Basically if the bike is stolen I should be able to find it and show the Police if they have interest. Once the motor locks the bike cannot be ridden using the motor. Parts could be sold on I suppose but not the motor as it stays locked and apparently cannot be cracked.
These bikes cost a few bob so im willing to spend a little just to make sure they are protected. I know if some toerag (hope thats not racial or sexist) want the bike the they will steal it. I just want to make it as hard as possible.
