Re: Summa D750 Pro advice

Post by Baldy »

Following the death of a relative, I've just aquired a SummaSign D750 Pro cutter, which I'm told works.
Sadly, it wasn't plugged in when we collected so now have a mission to identify the correct cables, software (and possibly a dongle?) that we need.
There's a lot of cables and random discs to sort through, so if anybody is able to advise on particular discs I need to keep eye out for, what the dongle looks like, or general advice on how to get it going, that'd be much appreciated. - Used to doing vinyl jobs on the Silhouette so feeling a bit lost.

You will probably need to join a sign making forum to get a definitive reply, Summa is a quite a 'specialist' brand. Try the uksignboards.com or signs101.com.

Cheers Tony. Good idea.
No doubt they'll try to sell me a current model, but fingers crossed I'll also get some good advice regarding this machine.
