Polymer children's mugs printing problem
Re: Polymer children's mugs printing problem
Has anyone experienced a problem printing polymer mugs. They appear to have a seam opposite the handle,(front of the mug) Whenever I try to print, it comes out fine apart from an area a few cm each side of the seam and down it, the print is much lighter, any suggestions, thanks

What are you using to heat the mug? is it possibly due to the fact that the plastic wont transfer the heat in the same way?

Using Ink Experts Paper, Ink and one of their mug presses. pressing at 168, 50 seconds, I might try increasing the temp or time, It's just in the area of seam that seems to be the problem.
Re: Polymer children's mugs printing problem
If you’re consistently seeing the light print issue near the seam, check how the mug is positioned in the printer or heat press. Misalignment could cause uneven pressure or inconsistent ink deposition along the seam area.
Try rotating the mug slightly so that the print head or heat press isn't pressing directly along the seam.
