Re: Elements for OLD STYLE Freesub ST210 press or recommendations for a new mug press

I have an old style Freesub ST210 twin mug press which I haven't used in a while. One of the elements has bubbled so I wanted to replace it. I know they brought out a new version of this press and that the new elements do not fit the old version. I can see lots of places selling the new elements, but the only place I can find selling the old style ones is Signzworld and they do not have the 11oz element in stock. I'm guessing they won't be getting any more of them as obviously the new version is the current one that they sell.

So, has anyone seen the 11oz old style elements for this press anywhere? Or am I best just sucking it up and getting a new press? I've been looking at the pink single mug press from Ink Experts. Is this a decent one for the time being? I also like the look of the MDP one, but that is more expensive. I might look to buy that one a bit later on as an additional mug press. Thank you!

Might be better to buy a new one if you can't find an ongoing stock of the old elements. Sounds like less hassle. Both suppliers are very good by all accounts, MDP mug press has been discussed recently here and gets good reports.

BTW, If you end up buying new, I believe that Signzworld sell an identical heat press to MDP only cheaper and Signzworld currently have 10% off heat presses

Thanks everyone. I think I'm going to go for the MDP press. Is the Signzworld EXACTLY the same press? It seems a lot cheaper! Are they a good company to use? I seem to remember them not being recommended in one of the fb groups.
