It’s not something I have used before so if there’s no answer it’s not the end of the world.
Im trying to perform a print and cut from scal5 pro.
Clicking print and cut then print all good.
Sending print from scal to the bn20 versaworks prints fine with scal reg marks.
move print to graphtec ce6000 click cut on scal.
this is where I’m having issues.
instead of searching for the reg marks it’s instantly cutting tiny numbers.
I have tried several times rebooted pc but nothing.
there must be a setting I’m overlooking?
im only trying to save time cutting on the
my designs were already in scal so it would have been easier than converting and adding cut lines every time.
Sure cuts a lot 5

Re: Sure cuts a lot 5
Hi Mr T. Forgive my ignorance, but are you just printing on the BN-20 then trying to cut the print out on the Graphtec?
I've used SCAL for years but only have the one cutter and print&cut has always worked fine for me. I printed on a Canon printer and cut on a Silver Bullet.

Isn't the idea of the BN-20 that it's both print and cut? I know it's incredibly slow so maybe that's why you're moving to the Graphtec?

using print and cut feature in the scal software yes.webtrekker;153071 wrote:Hi Mr T. Forgive my ignorance, but are you just printing on the BN-20 then trying to cut the print out on the Graphtec?

sends to bn20 fine.
add to graphtec click cut
this is where the error is.
The bn20 is so slow at cutting it’s painful to watch.Justin;153074 wrote:Isn't the idea of the BN-20 that it's both print and cut? I know it's incredibly slow so maybe that's why you're moving to the Graphtec?
I could be printing another batch of prints but it’s takes so long it’s junk.
the graphtec would cut the job in 5 minutes but the bn20 probably 30m +

Ok, assuming you already have the print from your BN-20 complete with Regmarks then it should just be a case of placing your print on the cutting mat and going into the Print & Cut dialogue again and clicking 'Next' (or whatever appears for your cutter) to locate the marks and start cutting the job.

(Sorry for the poor quality pics, the forum uploader seems to resize them to minimum size).
My Silver Bullet machine uses a red dot laser regmark locator which means I must locate each mark manually. I find this much better and more stable than the automatic ARM systems.

Yep I do this but instead of scanning for the reg marks it just starts cutting tiny text.webtrekker;153076 wrote:Ok, assuming you already have the print from your BN-20 complete with Regmarks then it should just be a case of placing your print on the cutting mat and going into the Print & Cut dialogue again and clicking 'Next' (or whatever appears for your cutter) to locate the marks and start cutting the job.

there must be a setting causing this somewhere.
maybe the hpgl settings or something?
as in a previous post it’s also feeding backwards the screen shows the feed arrow on the left so it should start at the left point but instead it starts at the right
