I have been using the bn-20 for a couple of years now and I’m pretty happy overall but someone once said stick with generic vinyl setting for everything and it will be ok.
So does a profile make a difference to the results?
like sublimation I would assume that the profile is an equivalent to the icc profile.
So where do I get these profiles for static cling and other media?
roland don’t list the media I use with my setup.
The static cling I print is from mdp and there’s no make on the roll at all or on the website.
the banner material is grafityp with no brand also.
and then it varies on vinyl from detape and Poly print to ritrama.
Should I just carry on how I am or should I really be hunting down these profiles.
Printing profiles.

Re: Printing profiles.
I only use two profiles on my Mimaki. Metamark MD5 for sing vinyl and banners (even though I don't use metamark vinyl it has settings for all resolutions/pass rates) and the Siser one for C-print Hi 5 for garment vinyl.
Not all media have available profiles for every inkset used, so I find it best to stick with the two.
